Practicing Herbal Medicine
Our ancestors used herbal medicine as a primary form of preventive and curative therapies. The vast majority of the world still uses herbal medicine as its primary or only form of healing. That would make our current American allopathic system of patent drug use “alternative medicine”, since we are in the minority of the world’s people.

Alternative medicine works by following two important principles of medicine:
1. Imitatio Corporis (Imitation of the Body). It is good to imitate the body’s natural healing mechanisms. Every nutrient has at least one therapeutic use in the treatment of disease.
2. Pfeiffer’s Law. If a drug can be found to do the job of medical healing, a nutrient can be found to do the same job. When we understand how a drug works, we can imitate its action. Thereby achieving the same effect, without side affects.
